1 The proverbs of Solomon. A wise child makes a glad father, but a foolish child is a mother's grief. 1 The proverbs of Solomon: A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish son grief to his mother.
2 Treasures gained by wickedness do not profit, but righteousness delivers from death. 2 Ill-gotten treasures are of no value, but righteousness delivers from death.
