Holman Christian Standard (CSB) New International Version (NIV)
My heart is confident, God; I will sing; I will sing praises with the whole of my being. 1 My heart is steadfast, O God; I will sing and make music with all my soul.
Wake up, harp and lyre! I will wake up the dawn. 2 Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn.
I will praise You, Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to You among the nations. 3 I will praise you, O LORD, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples.
For Your faithful love is higher than the heavens; Your faithfulness reaches the clouds. 4 For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
God, be exalted above the heavens; let Your glory be over the whole earth. 5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens, and let your glory be over all the earth.
Save with Your right hand and answer me so that those You love may be rescued. 6 Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered.
God has spoken in His sanctuary: "I will triumph! I will divide up Shechem. I will apportion the Valley of Succoth. 7 God has spoken from his sanctuary: "In triumph I will parcel out Shechem and measure off the Valley of Succoth.
Gilead is Mine, Manasseh is Mine, and Ephraim is My helmet; Judah is My scepter. 8 Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah my scepter.
Moab is My washbasin; on Edom I throw My sandal. Over Philistia I shout in triumph." 9 Moab is my washbasin, upon Edom I toss my sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph."
Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom? 10 Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?
Have You not rejected us, God? God, You do not march out with our armies. 11 Is it not you, O God, you who have rejected us and no longer go out with our armies?
Give us aid against the foe, for human help is worthless. 12 Give us aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless.
With God we will perform valiantly; He will trample our foes. 13 With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.
