Holman Christian Standard (CSB) New International Version (NIV)
I will give You thanks with all my heart; I will sing Your praise before the heavenly beings. 1 I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart; before the "gods" I will sing your praise.
I will bow down toward Your holy temple and give thanks to Your name for Your constant love and faithfulness. You have exalted Your name and Your promise above everything else. 2 I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word.
On the day I called, You answered me; You increased strength within me. 3 When I called, you answered me; you made me bold and stouthearted.
All the kings on earth will give You thanks, Lord, when they hear what You have promised. 4 May all the kings of the earth praise you, O LORD, when they hear the words of your mouth.
They will sing of the Lord's ways, for the Lord's glory is great. 5 May they sing of the ways of the LORD, for the glory of the LORD is great.
Though the Lord is exalted, He takes note of the humble; but He knows the haughty from afar. 6 Though the LORD is on high, he looks upon the lowly, but the proud he knows from afar.
If I walk in the thick of danger, You will preserve my life from the anger of my enemies. You will extend Your hand; Your right hand will save me. 7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the anger of my foes, with your right hand you save me.
The Lord will fulfill [His purpose] for me. Lord, Your love is eternal; do not abandon the work of Your hands. 8 The LORD will fulfill [his purpose] for me; your love, O LORD, endures forever-- do not abandon the works of your hands.
