Psalm 92 NLT/NIV - Online Parallel Bible

New Living Translation (NLT) New International Version (NIV)
A psalm to be sung on the LORD's Day. A song. It is good to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to the Most High. 1 It is good to praise the LORD and make music to your name, O Most High,
It is good to proclaim your unfailing love in the morning, your faithfulness in the evening, 2 to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night,
accompanied by the harp and lute and the harmony of the lyre. 3 to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp.
You thrill me, LORD, with all you have done for me! I sing for joy because of what you have done. 4 For you make me glad by your deeds, O LORD; I sing for joy at the works of your hands.
O LORD, what great miracles you do! And how deep are your thoughts. 5 How great are your works, O LORD, how profound your thoughts!
Only an ignorant person would not know this! Only a fool would not understand it. 6 The senseless man does not know, fools do not understand,
Although the wicked flourish like weeds, and evildoers blossom with success, there is only eternal destruction ahead of them. 7 that though the wicked spring up like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be forever destroyed.
But you are exalted in the heavens. You, O LORD, continue forever. 8 But you, O LORD, are exalted forever.
Your enemies, LORD, will surely perish; all evildoers will be scattered. 9 For surely your enemies, O LORD, surely your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered.
But you have made me as strong as a wild bull. How refreshed I am by your power! 10 You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox; fine oils have been poured upon me.
With my own eyes I have seen the downfall of my enemies; with my own ears I have heard the defeat of my wicked opponents. 11 My eyes have seen the defeat of my adversaries; my ears have heard the rout of my wicked foes.
But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon. 12 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon;
For they are transplanted into the LORD's own house. They flourish in the courts of our God. 13 planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God.
Even in old age they will still produce fruit; they will remain vital and green. 14 They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green,
They will declare, "The LORD is just! He is my rock! There is nothing but goodness in him!" 15 proclaiming, "The LORD is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him."
