1 Je levai les yeux et je regardai, et voici, il y avait un homme tenant dans la main un cordeau pour mesurer.

1 Then I looked up--and there before me was a man with a measuring line in his hand!
|

2 Je dis: O? vas-tu? Et il me dit: Je vais mesurer J?rusalem, pour voir de quelle largeur et de quelle longueur elle doit ?tre.
|
2 I asked, "Where are you going?" He answered me, "To measure Jerusalem, to find out how wide and how long it is."
|
|
3 Et voici, l'ange qui parlait avec moi s'avan?a, et un autre ange vint ? sa rencontre.
|
3 Then the angel who was speaking to me left, and another angel came to meet him
|
|
4 Il lui dit: Cours, parle ? ce jeune homme, et dis: J?rusalem sera une ville ouverte, ? cause de la multitude d'hommes et de b?tes qui seront au milieu d'elle;
|
4 and said to him: "Run, tell that young man, 'Jerusalem will be a city without walls because of the great number of men and livestock in it.
|
|
5 je serai pour elle, dit l'?ternel, une muraille de feu tout autour, et je serai sa gloire au milieu d'elle.
|
5 And I myself will be a wall of fire around it,' declares the LORD, 'and I will be its glory within.'
|
|
6 Fuyez, fuyez du pays du septentrion! Dit l'?ternel. Car je vous ai dispers?s aux quatre vents des cieux, Dit l'?ternel.
|
6 "Come! Come! Flee from the land of the north," declares the LORD, "for I have scattered you to the four winds of heaven," declares the LORD.

7 Sauve-toi, Sion, Toi qui habites chez la fille de Babylone!
|
7 "Come, O Zion! Escape, you who live in the Daughter of Babylon!"
|
|
8 Car ainsi parle l'?ternel des arm?es: Apr?s cela, viendra la gloire! Il m'a envoy? vers les nations qui vous ont d?pouill?s; Car celui qui vous touche touche la prunelle de son oeil.

8 For this is what the LORD Almighty says: "After he has honored me and has sent me against the nations that have plundered you--for whoever touches you touches the apple of his eye--

9 Voici, je l?ve ma main contre elles, Et elles seront la proie de ceux qui leur ?taient asservis. Et vous saurez que l'?ternel des arm?es m'a envoy?.
|
9 I will surely raise my hand against them so that their slaves will plunder them. Then you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me.
|
|
10 Pousse des cris d'all?gresse et r?jouis-toi, Fille de Sion! Car voici, je viens, et j'habiterai au milieu de toi, Dit l'?ternel.
|
10 "Shout and be glad, O Daughter of Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you," declares the LORD.
|
|
11 Beaucoup de nations s'attacheront ? l'?ternel en ce jour-l?, Et deviendront mon peuple; J'habiterai au milieu de toi, Et tu sauras que l'?ternel des arm?es m'a envoy? vers toi.

11 "Many nations will be joined with the LORD in that day and will become my people. I will live among you and you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me to you.
|
|
12 L'?ternel poss?dera Juda comme sa part Dans la terre sainte, Et il choisira encore J?rusalem.
|
12 The LORD will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land and will again choose Jerusalem.
|
|
13 Que toute chair fasse silence devant l'?ternel! Car il s'est r?veill? de sa demeure sainte.
|
13 Be still before the LORD, all mankind, because he has roused himself from his holy dwelling."
