Levítico 9:1-11

1 Y fue en el d铆a octavo, que Mois茅s llam贸 a Aar贸n y a sus hijos, y a los ancianos de Israel;
2 y dijo a Aar贸n: Toma un becerro para expiaci贸n, y un carnero para holocausto, sin defecto, y ofr茅celos delante del SE脩OR.
3 Y a los hijos de Israel hablar谩s, diciendo: Tomad un macho cabr铆o para expiaci贸n, y un becerro y un cordero de un a帽o, sin tacha, para holocausto;
4 asimismo un buey y un carnero para sacrificio de paz, que inmol茅is delante del SE脩OR; y un presente amasado en aceite; porque el SE脩OR se aparecer谩 hoy a vosotros.
5 Y llevaron lo que mand贸 Mois茅s delante del tabern谩culo del testimonio, y vino toda la congregaci贸n, y se pusieron delante del SE脩OR.
6 Entonces Mois茅s dijo: Esto es lo que mand贸 el SE脩OR que hag谩is, y la gloria del SE脩OR se os aparecer谩.
7 Y dijo Mois茅s a Aar贸n: Ll茅gate al altar, y haz tu expiaci贸n, y tu holocausto, y haz la reconciliaci贸n por ti y por el pueblo; haz tambi茅n la ofrenda del pueblo, y haz la reconciliaci贸n por ellos; como ha mandado el SE脩OR.
8 Entonces se acerc贸 Aar贸n al altar; y degoll贸 su becerro de la expiaci贸n que era por 茅l.
9 Y los hijos de Aar贸n le trajeron la sangre; y 茅l moj贸 su dedo en la sangre, y puso sobre los cuernos del altar, y derram贸 la dem谩s sangre al cimiento del altar;
10 Y el sebo y ri帽ones y reda帽o del h铆gado, de la expiaci贸n, hizo perfume, como el SE脩OR lo hab铆a mandado a Mois茅s.
11 Mas la carne y el cuero los quem贸 en fuego fuera del real.

INTRODUCTION TO LEVITICUS 9

Aaron and his sons, being consecrated to and invested with the priest's office, are called upon to the exercise of it, to offer a sin offering and a burnt offering for themselves, and all sorts of offerings, a sin offering, a burnt offering, peace offerings, and a meat offering, for the people; and a promise is made for their encouragement, that the glory of the Lord would appear to them, Le 9:1-7 and which were in their course accordingly offered; first, Aaron's sin offering for himself, Le 9:8-11 then his burnt offering, Le 9:12-14 after that the several offerings of the people before mentioned, Le 9:15-21 when Aaron and Moses blessed the people, the one as soon as he had done offering, and both together when they came out of the tabernacle, Le 9:22,23 upon which a fire came forth from the Lord, and consumed the burnt offering upon the altar, Le 9:24.
