2 Samuel 4:3

And the Beerothites fled to Gittaim, and were sojourners there
until that day.
] At the death of Saul, when many of the Israelites deserted their cities, and left them to the Philistines, ( 1 Samuel 31:7 ) ; and so the inhabitants of Beeroth forsook their city, which was near the Philistines, and went to Gittaim, a city in the same tribe, though a little further off, see ( Nehemiah 11:33 ) .

4 Y Jonatán, hijo de Saúl, tenía un hijo lisiado de los pies. Este tenía cinco años cuando de Jezreel llegaron las noticias de la muerte de Saúl y Jonatán, y su nodriza lo tomó y huyó, pero sucedió que en su prisa por huir, él se cayó y quedó cojo. Su nombre era Mefiboset.

5 Y los hijos de Rimón beerotita, Recab y Baana, fueron y entraron en la casa de Is-boset en el calor del día, mientras él dormía la siesta.
