Mark 10:25

Needle's eye (trumalia rapido). See on "Mt 19:24" for discussion. Luke uses the surgical needle, belonh. Matthew has the word rapi like Mark from raptw, to sew, and it appears in the papyri. Both Matthew and Luke employ trhmato for eye, a perforation or hole from titraw, to bore. Mark's word trumalia is from truw, to wear away, to perforate. In the LXX and Plutarch.
