The Ephraimites, quarrelling with Jephthah, and discerned by Shibboleth, are slain by the Gileadites.
Jephthah dies.
Ibzan, who had thirty sons, and thirty daughters;
11 and Elon;
13 and Abdon, who had forty sons, and thirty nephews, judge Israel.

Then Jephthah gathered together all the men of Gilead, and fought with Ephraim: and the men of Gilead smote Ephraim, because they said, Ye Gileadites are fugitives of Ephraim among the Ephraimites, and among the Manassites.
