Leviticus 13:8

8 The priest will examine him, and if the scab has spread on the skin, then the priest must pronounce him unclean; he has a skin disease.

Leviticus 13:8

And [if] the priest see that, behold, the scab spreadeth in
the skin
Is not at a stay, as when he looked at it a second and third time:

then the priest shall pronounce him unclean;
a leprous person; to be absolutely so, as Jarchi expresses it; and so obliged to the birds (to bring birds for his cleansing), and to shaving, and to the offering spoken of in this section, as the same writer observes:

it [is] a leprosy:
it is a clear and plain case that it was one, and no doubt is to be made of it, it is a spreading leprosy: as sin is; it spreads itself over all the powers and faculties of the soul, and over all the members of the body; and it spreads more and more in every stage of life, unless and until grace puts a stop to it.

Leviticus 13:8 In-Context

6 The priest will examine him again on the seventh day. If the infection has faded and has not spread on the skin, the priest is to pronounce him clean; it is a scab. The person is to wash his clothes and will become clean.
7 But if the scab spreads further on his skin after he has presented himself to the priest for his cleansing, he must present himself again to the priest.
8 The priest will examine him, and if the scab has spread on the skin, then the priest must pronounce him unclean; he has a skin disease.
9 "When a skin disease develops on a person, he is to be brought to the priest.
10 The priest will examine him. If there is a white swelling on the skin that has turned the hair white, and there is a patch of raw flesh in the swelling,
