14 耶 和 華 必 為 你 們 爭 戰 ； 你 們 只 管 靜 默 ， 不 要 作 聲 。

Exodus 14:14

The Lord shall fight for you
By commanding the wind of the heavens, and the waves of the sea, and employing them against their enemies, and on their behalf; they being unarmed, and so not in a condition to fight for themselves, as well as they had no heart or spirit for it:

and ye shall hold your peace;
be still, and quiet, and easy in your minds, and forbear saying or doing anything; "be silent"; and neither express the fear and distress of their minds, by any mournful sounds, nor their joy of faith by shouts and huzzas; as they could not draw a sword, they were not so much as to blow a trumpet, and break a pitcher, and cry the sword of the Lord, and of Israel as they after did on another occasion, at least their posterity.

12 我 們 在 埃 及 豈 沒 有 對 你 說 過 ， 不 要 攪 擾 我 們 ， 容 我 們 服 事 埃 及 人 麼 ？ 因 為 服 事 埃 及 人 比 死 在 曠 野 還 好 。

13 摩 西 對 百 姓 說 ： 不 要 懼 怕 ， 只 管 站 住 ！ 看 耶 和 華 今 天 向 你 們 所 要 施 行 的 救 恩 。 因 為 ， 你 們 今 天 所 看 見 的 埃 及 人 必 永 遠 不 再 看 見 了 。

15 耶 和 華 對 摩 西 說 ： 你 為 甚 麼 向 我 哀 求 呢 ？ 你 吩 咐 以 色 列 人 往 前 走 。

16 你 舉 手 向 海 伸 杖 ， 把 水 分 開 。 以 色 列 人 要 下 海 中 走 乾 地 。
