9 　 神 又 對 亞 伯 拉 罕 說 ： 你 和 你 的 後 裔 必 世 世 代 代 遵 守 我 的 約 。

Genesis 17:9

And God said unto Abraham, thou shalt keep my covenant
therefore
Observe the sign or token of it, circumcision, in the manner after related:

thou, and thy seed after thee, in their generations;
in successive ages until the Messiah come, the end of the law for righteousness.

7 我 要 與 你 並 你 世 世 代 代 的 後 裔 堅 立 我 的 約 ， 作 永 遠 的 約 ， 是 要 作 你 和 你 後 裔 的 　 神 。

8 我 要 將 你 現 在 寄 居 的 地 ， 就 是 迦 南 全 地 ， 賜 給 你 和 你 的 後 裔 永 遠 為 業 ， 我 也 必 作 他 們 的 　 神 。

9 　 神 又 對 亞 伯 拉 罕 說 ： 你 和 你 的 後 裔 必 世 世 代 代 遵 守 我 的 約 。

10 你 們 所 有 的 男 子 都 要 受 割 禮 ； 這 就 是 我 與 你 並 你 的 後 裔 所 立 的 約 ， 是 你 們 所 當 遵 守 的 。

11 你 們 都 要 受 割 禮 ( 原 文 作 割 陽 皮 ；14 ，23 ，24 ，25 節 同 ) ； 這 是 我 與 你 們 立 約 的 證 據 。
