Genesis 39:19

And it came to pass, when his master heard the words of his
wife
The story she related concerning Joseph, which was her own invention, and a lie: which she spake unto him, saying, after this manner did thy servant to
me;
attempting to violate her chastity, as she pretended: that his wrath was kindled;
that is, against Joseph, without strictly examining her words, which they would not bear, her story being but ill put together, and without hearing Joseph's defence.

17 就 對 他 如 此 如 此 說 ： 你 所 帶 到 我 們 這 裡 的 那 希 伯 來 僕 人 進 來 要 戲 弄 我 ，

18 我 放 聲 喊 起 來 ， 他 就 把 衣 裳 丟 在 我 這 裡 ， 跑 出 去 了 。

20 把 約 瑟 下 在 監 裡 ， 就 是 王 的 囚 犯 被 囚 的 地 方 。 於 是 約 瑟 在 那 裡 坐 監 。

21 但 耶 和 華 與 約 瑟 同 在 ， 向 他 施 恩 ， 使 他 在 司 獄 的 眼 前 蒙 恩 。
