8 希 西 家 和 眾 首 領 來 ， 看 見 堆 壘 ， 就 稱 頌 耶 和 華 ， 又 為 耶 和 華 的 民 以 色 列 人 祝 福 。

2 Chronicles 31:8

And when Hezekiah and the princes came and saw the heaps,
&c.] Of the tithes and firstfruits:

they blessed the Lord;
for the great increase of the fruits of the earth, and for making the people so willing to bring in the dues to the priests and Levites:

and his people Israel;
wished all happiness and prosperity to them, being found in the way of their duty.

6 住 猶 大 各 城 的 以 色 列 人 和 猶 大 人 也 將 牛 羊 的 十 分 之 一 ， 並 分 別 為 聖 歸 耶 和 華 ─ 他 們 　 神 之 物 ， 就 是 十 分 取 一 之 物 ， 盡 都 送 來 ， 積 成 堆 壘 ；

7 從 三 月 積 起 ， 到 七 月 才 完 。

8 希 西 家 和 眾 首 領 來 ， 看 見 堆 壘 ， 就 稱 頌 耶 和 華 ， 又 為 耶 和 華 的 民 以 色 列 人 祝 福 。

9 希 西 家 向 祭 司 、 利 未 人 查 問 這 堆 壘 。

10 撒 督 家 的 大 祭 司 亞 撒 利 雅 回 答 說 ： 自 從 民 將 供 物 送 到 耶 和 華 殿 以 來 ， 我 們 不 但 吃 飽 ， 且 剩 下 的 甚 多 ； 因 為 耶 和 華 賜 福 給 他 的 民 ， 所 剩 下 的 才 這 樣 豐 盛 。
