34 但 我 不 從 他 手 裡 將 全 國 奪 回 ； 使 他 終 身 為 君 ， 是 因 我 所 揀 選 的 僕 人 大 衛 謹 守 我 的 誡 命 律 例 。

1 Kings 11:34

Howbeit, I will not take the kingdom out of his hand
Not any part of it, ( 1 Kings 11:12 ) ,

but I will make him prince all the days of his life;
that is, he shall continue to hold the government of all the tribes so long as he lives:

for David my servant's sake, whom I chose, because he kept my
commandments and my statutes;
see ( 1 Kings 11:12 ) , or was well pleased with, as the Targum; for keeping the commands of God from right principles, and with right views, is well pleasing to him.

34 但 我 不 從 他 手 裡 將 全 國 奪 回 ； 使 他 終 身 為 君 ， 是 因 我 所 揀 選 的 僕 人 大 衛 謹 守 我 的 誡 命 律 例 。

35 我 必 從 他 兒 子 的 手 裡 將 國 奪 回 ， 以 十 個 支 派 賜 給 你 ，

36 還 留 一 個 支 派 給 他 的 兒 子 ， 使 我 僕 人 大 衛 在 我 所 選 擇 立 我 名 的 耶 路 撒 冷 城 裡 ， 在 我 面 前 長 有 燈 光 。
