24 耶 戶 和 約 拿 達 進 去 ， 獻 平 安 祭 和 燔 祭 。 耶 戶 先 安 排 八 十 人 在 廟 外 ， 吩 咐 說 ： 我 將 這 些 人 交 在 你 們 手 中 ， 若 有 一 人 脫 逃 ， 誰 放 的 必 叫 他 償 命 ！

2 Kings 10:24

And when they went in to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings,
&c.] To Baal, all things being ready for them:

Jehu appointed eighty men without;
without the temple of Baal, at the several doors and avenues of it:

and said, if any of the men whom I have brought into your hands escape,
he that letteth him go, his life shall be for the life of him;
should be put to death for it in his room; the life of a watchman set to guard should go for the life of one that escaped.

22 耶 戶 吩 咐 掌 管 禮 服 的 人 說 ： 拿 出 禮 服 來 ， 給 一 切 拜 巴 力 的 人 穿 。 他 就 拿 出 禮 服 來 給 了 他 們 。

23 耶 戶 和 利 甲 的 兒 子 約 拿 達 進 了 巴 力 廟 ， 對 拜 巴 力 的 人 說 ： 你 們 察 看 察 看 ， 在 你 們 這 裡 不 可 有 耶 和 華 的 僕 人 ， 只 可 容 留 拜 巴 力 的 人 。

25 耶 戶 獻 完 了 燔 祭 ， 就 出 來 吩 咐 護 衛 兵 和 眾 軍 長 說 ： 你 們 進 去 殺 他 們 ， 不 容 一 人 出 來 ！ 護 衛 兵 和 軍 長 就 用 刀 殺 他 們 ， 將 屍 首 拋 出 去 ， 便 到 巴 力 廟 的 城 去 了 ，

26 將 巴 力 廟 中 的 柱 像 都 拿 出 來 燒 了 ；
