18 以 利 沙 又 說 ： 取 幾 枝 箭 來 。 他 就 取 了 來 。 以 利 沙 說 ： 打 地 罷 ！ 他 打 了 三 次 ， 便 止 住 了 。

2 Kings 13:18

And he said, take the arrows, and he took them
The rest of them:

and he said unto the king of Israel,
smite upon the ground; the floor of the room in which the prophet lay:

and he smote thrice, and stayed;
made a stop, ceased smiting; he might think this action trifling, and beneath him, only was willing to please the prophet, but did not do it with a good will, and therefore smote no more; though this was an emblem of his smiting the Syrians, which he might not understand.

16 又 對 以 色 列 王 說 ： 你 用 手 拿 弓 。 王 就 用 手 拿 弓 。 以 利 沙 按 手 在 王 的 手 上 ，

17 說 ： 你 開 朝 東 的 窗 戶 。 他 就 開 了 。 以 利 沙 說 ： 射 箭 罷 ！ 他 就 射 箭 。 以 利 沙 說 ： 這 是 耶 和 華 的 得 勝 箭 ， 就 是 戰 勝 亞 蘭 人 的 箭 ； 因 為 你 必 在 亞 弗 攻 打 亞 蘭 人 ， 直 到 滅 盡 他 們 。

18 以 利 沙 又 說 ： 取 幾 枝 箭 來 。 他 就 取 了 來 。 以 利 沙 說 ： 打 地 罷 ！ 他 打 了 三 次 ， 便 止 住 了 。

19 　 神 人 向 他 發 怒 ， 說 ： 應 當 擊 打 五 六 次 ， 就 能 攻 打 亞 蘭 人 直 到 滅 盡 ； 現 在 只 能 打 敗 亞 蘭 人 三 次 。

20 以 利 沙 死 了 ， 人 將 他 葬 埋 。 到 了 新 年 ， 有 一 群 摩 押 人 犯 境 ，
