35 地 多 時 為 荒 場 ， 就 要 多 時 歇 息 ； 地 這 樣 歇 息 ， 是 你 們 住 在 其 上 的 安 息 年 所 不 能 得 的 。

Leviticus 26:35

As long as it lieth desolate it shall rest
From tillage, neither man nor beast working upon it; for which reason such a space of time was called a sabbath: because it did not rest in your sabbaths, when you dwelt upon it;
they manured and tilled it on the seventh years, as on others, neglecting the command which God had given them; and this they did not once or twice, but many times, while they were dwellers in the land; which seems to confirm pretty much the notion of their having omitted so many years, though that cannot be affirmed with certainty; see Jarchi on the place.

33 我 要 把 你 們 散 在 列 邦 中 ； 我 也 要 拔 刀 追 趕 你 們 。 你 們 的 地 要 成 為 荒 場 ； 你 們 的 城 邑 要 變 為 荒 涼 。

34 你 們 在 仇 敵 之 地 居 住 的 時 候 ， 你 們 的 地 荒 涼 ， 要 享 受 眾 安 息 ； 正 在 那 時 候 ， 地 要 歇 息 ， 享 受 安 息 。

35 地 多 時 為 荒 場 ， 就 要 多 時 歇 息 ； 地 這 樣 歇 息 ， 是 你 們 住 在 其 上 的 安 息 年 所 不 能 得 的 。

36 至 於 你 們 剩 下 的 人 ， 我 要 使 他 們 在 仇 敵 之 地 心 驚 膽 怯 。 葉 子 被 風 吹 的 響 聲 ， 要 追 趕 他 們 ； 他 們 要 逃 避 ， 像 人 逃 避 刀 劍 ， 無 人 追 趕 ， 卻 要 跌 倒 。

37 無 人 追 趕 ， 他 們 要 彼 此 撞 跌 ， 像 在 刀 劍 之 前 。 你 們 在 仇 敵 面 前 也 必 站 立 不 住 。
