14 那 時 ， 人 數 約 有 五 千 。 耶 穌 對 門 徒 說 ： 叫 他 們 一 排 一 排 的 坐 下 ， 每 排 大 約 五 十 個 人 。

Luke 9:14

For they were about five thousand men
Beside women and children, ( Matthew 14:21 ) ,

and he said to his disciples, make them to sit down by fifties
in a company;
and by hundreds also; some companies had a hundred apiece in them, and others fifty; and which was done partly, for the more easy numbering of them, and partly and chiefly for the more convenient distribution of food to them; (See Gill on Mark 6:39). (See Gill on Mark 6:40).

12 日 頭 快 要 平 西 ， 十 二 個 門 徒 來 對 他 說 ： 請 叫 眾 人 散 開 ， 他 們 好 往 四 面 鄉 村 裡 去 借 宿 找 吃 的 ， 因 為 我 們 這 裡 是 野 地 。

13 耶 穌 說 ： 你 們 給 他 們 吃 罷 ！ 門 徒 說 ： 我 們 不 過 有 五 個 餅 ， 兩 條 魚 ， 若 不 去 為 這 許 多 人 買 食 物 就 不 夠 。

14 那 時 ， 人 數 約 有 五 千 。 耶 穌 對 門 徒 說 ： 叫 他 們 一 排 一 排 的 坐 下 ， 每 排 大 約 五 十 個 人 。

15 門 徒 就 如 此 行 ， 叫 眾 人 都 坐 下 。

16 耶 穌 拿 著 這 五 個 餅 ， 兩 條 魚 ， 望 著 天 祝 福 ， 擘 開 ， 遞 給 門 徒 ， 擺 在 眾 人 面 前 。
