Numbers 20:15

How our fathers went down into Egypt
Jacob and his twelve sons, with their children:

and we have dwelt in Egypt a long time;
even the space of four hundred and thirty years, ( Exodus 12:40 Exodus 12:41 )

and the Egyptians vexed us and our fathers;
used them ill, brought them into bondage, and made their lives bitter, laid heavy tasks and burdens upon them, as well as slew their male children, see ( Exodus 1:7-22 ) .

13 這 水 名 叫 米 利 巴 水 ， 是 因 以 色 列 人 向 耶 和 華 爭 鬧 ， 耶 和 華 就 在 他 們 面 前 顯 為 聖 。 （ 米 利 巴 就 是 爭 鬧 的 意 思 ）

16 我 們 哀 求 耶 和 華 的 時 候 ， 他 聽 了 我 們 的 聲 音 ， 差 遣 使 者 把 我 們 從 埃 及 領 出 來 。 這 事 你 都 知 道 。 如 今 ， 我 們 在 你 邊 界 上 的 城 加 低 斯 。

17 求 你 容 我 們 從 你 的 地 經 過 。 我 們 不 走 田 間 和 葡 萄 園 ， 也 不 喝 井 裡 的 水 ， 只 走 大 道 （ 原 文 作 王 道 ） ， 不 偏 左 右 ， 直 到 過 了 你 的 境 界 。
