17 若 用 可 以 打 死 人 的 石 頭 打 死 了 人 ， 他 就 是 故 殺 人 的 ； 故 殺 人 的 必 被 治 死 。

Numbers 35:17

And if he smite him with throwing a stone
"Or with a stone of the hand" ^F17, which the Jews interpret of a stone so big as to fill a man's hand, and so

wherewith he may die;
at whom it is thrown; is sufficient to cause his death, if struck with it; so the Targum of Jonathan paraphrases it of a

``stone of fulness of hands, which is sufficient that a man may die with it,''

or be killed by it:

and he die;
by the blow he receives from it, either immediately or in a short time after:

he is a murderer, and the murderer shall surely be put to death;
as in the above case.

15 這 六 座 城 要 給 以 色 列 人 和 他 們 中 間 的 外 人 ， 並 寄 居 的 ， 作 為 逃 城 ， 使 誤 殺 人 的 都 可 以 逃 到 那 裡 。

16 倘 若 人 用 鐵 器 打 人 ， 以 致 打 死 ， 他 就 是 故 殺 人 的 ； 故 殺 人 的 必 被 治 死 。

18 若 用 可 以 打 死 人 的 木 器 打 死 了 人 ， 他 就 是 故 殺 人 的 ； 故 殺 人 的 必 被 治 死 。

19 報 血 仇 的 必 親 自 殺 那 故 殺 人 的 ， 一 遇 見 就 殺 他 。
