1 Samuel 6:16

And when the five lords of the Philistines had seen it
Observed all that was done, how the kine performed their journey, drew the cart in which the ark was straight to Bethshemesh, stopped in a field near it, where it was received joyfully by the people, and sacrifices offered on account of it:

they returned to Ekron the same day;
as they might very well, since it was but twelve miles from Bethshemesh.

14 車 到 了 伯 示 麥 人 約 書 亞 的 田 間 ， 就 站 住 了 。 在 那 裡 有 一 塊 大 磐 石 ， 他 們 把 車 劈 了 ， 將 兩 隻 母 牛 獻 給 耶 和 華 為 燔 祭 。

15 利 未 人 將 耶 和 華 的 約 櫃 和 裝 金 物 的 匣 子 拿 下 來 ， 放 在 大 磐 石 上 。 當 日 伯 示 麥 人 將 燔 祭 和 平 安 祭 獻 給 耶 和 華 。

16 非 利 士 人 的 五 個 首 領 看 見 ， 當 日 就 回 以 革 倫 去 了 。

17 非 利 士 人 獻 給 耶 和 華 作 賠 罪 的 金 痔 瘡 像 ， 就 是 這 些 ： 一 個 是 為 亞 實 突 ， 一 個 是 為 迦 薩 ， 一 個 是 為 亞 實 基 倫 ， 一 個 是 為 迦 特 ， 一 個 是 為 以 革 倫 。

18 金 老 鼠 的 數 目 是 照 非 利 士 五 個 首 領 的 城 邑 ， 就 是 堅 固 的 城 邑 和 鄉 村 ， 以 及 大 磐 石 。 這 磐 石 是 放 耶 和 華 約 櫃 的 ， 到 今 日 還 在 伯 示 麥 人 約 書 亞 的 田 間 。
