23 撒 母 耳 對 廚 役 說 ： 我 交 給 你 收 存 的 那 一 分 祭 肉 現 在 可 以 拿 來 。

1 Samuel 9:23

And Samuel said unto the cook
That dressed and prepared the food for the entertainment of the guests:

bring the portion which I gave thee;
to dress; for part of the provisions of the feast was Samuel's, and the other part the people's that brought the peace offerings:

of which I said unto thee, set it by thee;
do not bring it in with the rest, but keep it in the kitchen till called for.

21 掃 羅 說 ： 我 不 是 以 色 列 支 派 中 至 小 的 便 雅 憫 人 麼 ？ 我 家 不 是 便 雅 憫 支 派 中 至 小 的 家 麼 ？ 你 為 何 對 我 說 這 樣 的 話 呢 ？

22 撒 母 耳 領 掃 羅 和 他 僕 人 進 了 客 堂 ， 使 他 們 在 請 來 的 客 中 坐 首 位 ； 客 約 有 三 十 個 人 。

23 撒 母 耳 對 廚 役 說 ： 我 交 給 你 收 存 的 那 一 分 祭 肉 現 在 可 以 拿 來 。

24 廚 役 就 把 收 存 的 腿 拿 來 ， 擺 在 掃 羅 面 前 ， 撒 母 耳 說 ： 這 是 所 留 下 的 ， 放 在 你 面 前 。 吃 罷 ！ 因 我 請 百 姓 的 時 候 ， 特 意 為 你 存 留 這 肉 到 此 時 。 當 日 ， 掃 羅 就 與 撒 母 耳 同 席 。

25 眾 人 從 邱 壇 下 來 進 城 ， 撒 母 耳 和 掃 羅 在 房 頂 上 說 話 。
