11 若 有 人 恨 他 的 鄰 舍 ， 埋 伏 著 起 來 擊 殺 他 ， 以 致 於 死 ， 便 逃 到 這 些 城 的 一 座 城 ，

Deuteronomy 19:11

But if any man hate his neighbour
Has conceived enmity in his heart against him, bears him a mortal hatred, and has formed a scheme in his mind to take away his life:

and lie in wait for him
knowing and expecting he will come by in such a way at such a time:

and rise up against him;
out of the place where he lay in wait, just at the time he is passing by:

and smite him mortally that he die;
or smite him

in soul or life

and fleeth into one of these cities;
for shelter from the avenger of blood.

9 你 若 謹 守 遵 行 我 今 日 所 吩 咐 的 這 一 切 誡 命 ， 愛 耶 和 華 ─ 你 的 　 神 ， 常 常 遵 行 他 的 道 ， 就 要 在 這 三 座 城 之 外 ， 再 添 三 座 城 ，

10 免 得 無 辜 之 人 的 血 流 在 耶 和 華 ─ 你 　 神 所 賜 你 為 業 的 地 上 ， 流 血 的 罪 就 歸 於 你 。

11 若 有 人 恨 他 的 鄰 舍 ， 埋 伏 著 起 來 擊 殺 他 ， 以 致 於 死 ， 便 逃 到 這 些 城 的 一 座 城 ，

12 本 城 的 長 老 就 要 打 發 人 去 ， 從 那 裡 帶 出 他 來 ， 交 在 報 血 仇 的 手 中 ， 將 他 治 死 。

13 你 眼 不 可 顧 惜 他 ， 卻 要 從 以 色 列 中 除 掉 流 無 辜 血 的 罪 ， 使 你 可 以 得 福 。
