以西結書 34:10

10 主 耶 和 華 如 此 說 ： 我 必 與 牧 人 為 敵 ， 必 向 他 們 的 手 追 討 我 的 羊 ， 使 他 們 不 再 牧 放 群 羊 ； 牧 人 也 不 再 牧 養 自 己 。 我 必 救 我 的 羊 脫 離 他 們 的 口 ， 不 再 作 他 們 的 食 物 。

Ezekiel 34:10

Thus saith the Lord God, behold, I am against the shepherds,
&c.] His heart was against them; his hand was against them; his face was against them, to cut them off. The Targum is,

``behold, I will send my fury upon the governors;''

and there was good reason for it, they were against him and his glory, against his flock, his people, his cause, and interest; sad it is for any to have God against them, and to be against God; for none ever hardened themselves against him and prospered, ( Job 9:4 ) : and I will require my flock at their hand;
the full tale of them that have been committed to their care, and will punish them for the neglect of them; their blood, their life, and the loss of them, I will require at their hands; thus he punished Zedekiah and his princes, and the priests and prophets: and cause them to cease from feeding the flock;
take the kingdom from them, as he did from Zedekiah; abolish the ecclesiastical hierarchy among the Jews; cut off three shepherds in one month, the priests, prophets, and scribes of the people; and put the flock into other hands, the apostles and ministers of the Gospel: neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more;
enrich themselves with the substance of the people: for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat
for them;
who, instead of being shepherds to feed the flock, were no other than wolves in sheep's clothing, and ravenous lions and bears, which devoured the flock; but this they should do no longer.

8 主 耶 和 華 說 ： 我 指 著 我 的 永 生 起 誓 ， 我 的 羊 因 無 牧 人 就 成 為 掠 物 ， 也 作 了 一 切 野 獸 的 食 物 。 我 的 牧 人 不 尋 找 我 的 羊 ； 這 些 牧 人 只 知 牧 養 自 己 ， 並 不 牧 養 我 的 羊 。

9 所 以 你 們 這 些 牧 人 要 聽 耶 和 華 的 話 。

11 主 耶 和 華 如 此 說 ： 看 哪 ， 我 必 親 自 尋 找 我 的 羊 ， 將 他 們 尋 見 。

12 牧 人 在 羊 群 四 散 的 日 子 怎 樣 尋 找 他 的 羊 ， 我 必 照 樣 尋 找 我 的 羊 。 這 些 羊 在 密 雲 黑 暗 的 日 子 散 到 各 處 ， 我 必 從 那 裡 救 回 他 們 來 。
