Ezekiel 7:25

Destruction cometh
Upon the temple, city, nation, and people; the king of Babylon, the destroyer of the Gentiles, and now of the Jews, being on his way, ( Jeremiah 4:7 ) ; and they shall seek peace, and [there shall be] none;
that is, the Jews will seek to make peace with the Chaldeans; but the latter will not hearken to them, but go on with the siege, till they have taken the city, put part to the sword, and carried the other captive.

23 要 製 造 鎖 鍊 ； 因 為 這 地 遍 滿 流 血 的 罪 ， 城 邑 充 滿 強 暴 的 事 ，

24 所 以 我 必 使 列 國 中 最 惡 的 人 來 佔 據 他 們 的 房 屋 ； 我 必 使 強 暴 人 的 驕 傲 止 息 ， 他 們 的 聖 所 都 要 被 褻 瀆 。

25 毀 滅 臨 近 了 ， 他 們 要 求 平 安 ， 卻 無 平 安 可 得 。

26 災 害 加 上 災 害 ， 風 聲 接 連 風 聲 ； 他 們 必 向 先 知 求 異 象 ， 但 祭 司 講 的 律 法 、 長 老 設 的 謀 略 都 必 斷 絕 。

27 君 要 悲 哀 ， 王 要 披 淒 涼 為 衣 ， 國 民 的 手 都 發 顫 。 我 必 照 他 們 的 行 為 待 他 們 ， 按 他 們 應 得 的 審 判 他 們 ， 他 們 就 知 道 我 是 耶 和 華 。
