There was a city of this name in the tribe of Judah, ( 1 Chronicles 4:18 ) but this seems to be further off, and perhaps is the same with Gedaris, mentioned by Strabo

41 Yǐshàng lù míng de rén , zaì Yóudà wáng Xīxījiā nián jiān , lái gōngjī Hán zú rén de zhàngpéng hé nàli suǒyǒude mǐ Wūní rén , jiāng tāmen miè jǐn , jiù zhù zaì tāmende dìfang , zhídào jīnrì , yīnwei nàli yǒu cǎo cháng kĕyǐ mù fàng yáng qún .
