1 Yēlùsǎlĕng de jūmín lì Yuēlán de xiǎoér zǐ yà hā xiè jiēxù tā zuò wáng . yīnwei gēnsuí a là bǎi rén lái gōng yíng de jūn bīng céng shā le yà hā xiè de zhòng xiōngzhǎng . zhèyàng , Yóudà wáng Yuēlán de érzi yà hā xiè zuò le wáng .

2 Chronicles 22:1

And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah his youngest
son king in his stead
He being the only surviving one of the sons of Jehoram, the same with Jehoahaz, ( 2 Chronicles 21:17 ) who was saved when the rest were taken captive and slain, by his mother Athaliah, and he made his escape, and that she also escaped is clear from ( 2 Chronicles 22:10 )

for the band of men that came with the Arabians to the camp;
that is, of the Philistines, ( 2 Chronicles 21:16 ) , which band seems to be a band or company of thieves and robbers, as the Septuagint, cruel and barbarous, as the action ascribed to them shows:

[for they] had slain all the eldest;
sons of Jehoram; the Philistines and Arabians only carried them away captives, but those slew them in cold blood:

so Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah reigned;
being declared his successor by the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

1 Yēlùsǎlĕng de jūmín lì Yuēlán de xiǎoér zǐ yà hā xiè jiēxù tā zuò wáng . yīnwei gēnsuí a là bǎi rén lái gōng yíng de jūn bīng céng shā le yà hā xiè de zhòng xiōngzhǎng . zhèyàng , Yóudà wáng Yuēlán de érzi yà hā xiè zuò le wáng .

2 Yà hā xiè dēng jī de shíhou nián sì shí èr suì ( liè wáng xià bā zhāng èr shí liù jié zuò èr shí èr suì ) , zaì Yēlùsǎlĕng zuò wáng yī nián . tā mǔqin míng jiào yà tā lì yē , shì àn lì de sūnnǚ .

3 Yà hā xiè yĕ xíng yà hā jiā de dào . yīnwei tā mǔqin gĕi tā zhǔ móu , shǐ tā xíng è .

4 Tā xíng Yēhéhuá yǎn zhōng kàn wéi è de shì , xiàng yà hā jiā yíyàng . yīn tā fùqin sǐ hòu yǒu yà hā jiā de rén gĕi tā zhǔ móu , yǐzhì baìhuaì .

5 Tā tīng cóng yà hā jiā de jì móu , tóng Yǐsèliè wáng yà hā de érzi Yuēlán wǎng Jīliè de là mò qù , yǔ Yàlán wáng hā xuē zhēng zhàn . Yàlán rén dá shāng le Yuēlán .
