2 Chronicles 32:9

After this did Sennacherib king of Assyria send his servants
to Jerusalem
Who are mentioned by name, ( 2 Kings 18:17 ) this was after Hezekiah had given him a large quantity of silver and gold to depart, and he did depart from him, ( 2 Kings 18:14-16 )

but he himself laid siege against Lachish,
and all his power with him; one of the cities of Judah, see ( Isaiah 36:2 ) , from hence he dispatched them

unto Hezekiah king of Judah, and unto all Judah that were at Jerusalem;
who had retired thither for safety, upon the invasion of their country by the king of Assyria.

7 Nǐmen dāng gāngqiáng zhuàng dǎn , búyào yīn Yàshù wáng hé gēnsuí tāde dà jūn kǒngjù , jīnghuāng . yīnwei yǔ wǒmen tóng zaì de , bǐ yǔ tāmen tóng zaì de gèng dà .

8 Yǔ tāmen tóng zaì de shì ròu bì , yǔ wǒmen tóng zaì de shì Yēhéhuá wǒmen de shén , tā bì bāngzhu wǒmen , wèi wǒmen zhēng zhàn . bǎixìng jiù kào Yóudà wáng Xīxījiā de huà , ānrán wú jù le .

9 Cǐ hòu , Yàshù wáng xī ná jīLìhé tāde quán jūn gōngdǎ Làjí , jiù chāiqiǎn chénpú dào Yēlùsǎlĕng jiàn Yóudà wáng Xīxījiā hé yīqiè zaì Yēlùsǎlĕng de Yóudà rén , shuō ,

10 Yàshù wáng xī ná jī lì rúcǐ shuō , nǐmen yǐkào shénme , hái zaì Yēlùsǎlĕng shòu kùn ne .

11 Xīxījiā duì nǐmen shuō Yēhéhuá wǒmen de shén bì jiù wǒmen tuōlí Yàshù wáng de shǒu , zhè bú shì yòuhuò nǐmen , shǐ nǐmen shòu jīkĕ ér sǐ ma .
