1 Kings 8:54

And it was so, that, when Solomon had made an end of praying
all this prayer and supplication unto the Lord
In which he was a type of Christ, praying and interceding for his people before the golden attar, ( Revelation 8:3 Revelation 8:4 ) ,

he arose from before the altar of the Lord;
the altar of burnt offering, over against which he was:

from kneeling on his knees;
upon the brasen scaffold; see ( 2 Chronicles 6:13 ) , in which posture he was during this long prayer:

with his hands spread up to heaven;
which gesture he had used in his prayer, and now continued in blessing the people.

52 Yuàn nǐde yǎnmù kàn gù púrén , tīng nǐ mín Yǐsèliè de qíqiú , wúlùn hé shí xiàng nǐ qíqiú , yuàn nǐ chuí tīng .

53 Zhǔ Yēhéhuá a , nǐ jiāng tāmen cóng dì shàng de wàn mín zhōng fēnbié chūlai zuò nǐde chǎnyè , shì zhào nǐ lǐng wǒmen lièzǔ chū Āijí de shíhou , jiè nǐ púrén Móxī suǒ yīngxǔ de huà .

55 Zhàn zhe , dàshēng wèi Yǐsèliè quánhuì zhòng zhùfú , shuō ,

56 Yēhéhuá shì yīngdāng chēngsòng de . yīnwei tā zhào zhe yīqiè suǒ yīngxǔ de cì píngān gĕi tāde mín Yǐsèliè rén , fán jiè tā púrén Móxī yīngxǔ cì fú de huà , yī gōu dōu méiyǒu luō kōng .
