23 Dàn zhè bǎixìng yǒu beìpàn wǔ nì de xīn . tāmen pàn wǒ ér qù ,

Yēlìmǐshū 5:23 Meaning and Commentary

Ver. 23 But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart
They are not so obedient as the sea and its waves; nor so firm and stable as the sand that is set for the bound of it. This is a reproof and an aggravation of the revoltings and rebellions of this people: they are revolted and gone;
they had departed from the ways of the Lord, and were gone back from his worship, as the Targum; and were gone into evil ways, and to a false worship; they not only had revolted, but they went on, they continued therein, and went further and further, off from God and his worship.

21 Yúmeì wúzhī de bǎixìng a , nǐmen yǒu yǎn bù kàn , yǒu ĕr bù tīng , xiànzaì dāng tīng zhè huà .

22 Yēhéhuá shuō , nǐmen zĕnme bù jùpà wǒ ne . wǒ yǐ yǒngyuǎn de dénglì , yòng shā wèi hǎi de jiè xiàn , shuǐ bùdé yuèguò . yīncǐ , nǐmen zaì wǒ miànqián hái bù zhàn jīng ma . bō làng suīrán fānteng , què bùnéng yú yuè . suīrán hōng , què bùnéng guo qù .

24 Xīn neì yĕ bú shuō , wǒmen yīngdāng jìngwèi Yēhéhuá wǒmen de shén . tā ànshí cì yǔ , jiù shì qiū yǔ chūn yǔ , yòu wèi wǒmen déng shōugē de jiéLìng , yǒng cún bù feì .

25 Nǐmen de zuìniè shǐ zhèxie shì zhuǎn lí nǐmen . nǐmen de zuìè shǐ nǐmen bùnéng dé fú .
