Yǐsījiēshū 35

1 Yēhéhuá de huà yòu líndào wǒ shuō ,

2 Rénzǐ a , nǐ yào miàn xiàng Xīĕrshān fā yùyán , gōngjī tā ,

3 Duì tā shuō , zhǔ Yēhéhuá rúcǐ shuō , Xīĕrshān nǎ , wǒ yǔ nǐ wèi dí , bì xiàng nǐ shēnshǒu gōngjī nǐ , shǐ nǐ huāngliáng , líng rén jīnghaì .

4 Wǒ bì shǐ nǐde chéngyì biàn wèi huāng cháng , chéngwéi qī liáng . nǐ jiù zhīdào wǒ shì Yēhéhuá .

5 Yīnwei nǐ yǒng huái chóuhèn , zaì Yǐsèliè rén zāo zāi , zuìniè dào le jìntóu de shíhou , jiāng tāmen jiāo yǔ dāo jiàn ,

6 Suǒyǐ zhǔ Yēhéhuá shuō , wǒ zhǐ zhe wǒde yǒngshēng qǐshì , wǒ bì shǐ nǐ zāoyù liúxuè de bàoyìng , zuì ( yuánwén zuò xuè bĕn jié tóng ) bì zhuīgǎn nǐ . nǐ jì bù hèn è shārén liúxuè , suǒyǐ zhè zuì bì zhuīgǎn nǐ .

7 Wǒ bì shǐ Xīĕrshān huāngliáng , líng rén jīnghaì , láiwǎng jīngguò de rén wǒ bì jiǎnchú .

8 Wǒ bì shǐ Xīĕrshān mǎn yǒu beì shā de rén . beì dāo shā de , bì dǎo zaì nǐ xiǎo shān hé shān gǔ , bìng yīqiè de xī shuǐ zhōng .

9 Wǒ bì shǐ nǐ yǒngyuǎn huāngliáng , shǐ nǐde chéngyì wú rén jūzhù , nǐde mín jiù zhīdào wǒ shì Yēhéhuá .

10 Yīnwei nǐ céng shuō , zhè èr guó zhè èr bāng bì guīyú wǒ , wǒ bì dé wèi yè . ( qíshí Yēhéhuá réng zaì nàli )

11 Suǒyǐ zhǔ Yēhéhuá shuō , wǒ zhǐ zhe wǒde yǒngshēng qǐshì , wǒ bì zhào nǐde nùqì hé nǐ cóng chóuhèn zhōng xiàng tāmen suǒ fā de jídù dāi nǐ . wǒ shĕnpàn nǐde shíhou , bìjiāng zìjǐ xiǎnmíng zaì tāmen zhōngjiān .

12 Nǐ yĕ bì zhīdào wǒ Yēhéhuá tīngjian le nǐde yīqiè huǐbàng , jiù shì nǐ gōngjī Yǐsèliè shān de huà , shuō , zhèxie shān huāngliáng , shì guī wǒmen tūn miè de .

13 Nǐmen yĕ yòng kǒu xiàng wǒ kuā dà , zēngtiān yǔ wǒ fǎnduì de huà , wǒ dōu tīngjian le .

14 Zhǔ Yēhéhuá rúcǐ shuō , quán dì huānlè de shíhou , wǒ bì shǐ nǐ huāngliáng .

15 Nǐ zĕnyàng yīn Yǐsèliè jiā de dì yè huāngliáng ér xǐlè , wǒ bì zhào nǐ suǒ xíng de dāi nǐ . Xīĕrshān nǎ , nǐ hé Yǐdōng quán dì bì dōu huāngliáng . nǐmen jiù zhīdào wǒ shì Yēhéhuá .

Chapter 35

A prophecy against Edom.

Verses 1-9 All who have God against them, have the word of God against them. Those that have a constant hatred to God and his people, as the carnal mind has, can only expect to be made desolate for ever.

Verses 10-15 When we see the vanity of the world in the disappointments, losses, and crosses, which others meet with, instead of showing ourselves greedy of worldly things, we should sit more loose to them. In the multitude of words, not one is unknown to God; not the most idle word; and the most daring is not above his rebuke. In the destruction of the enemies of the church, God designs his own glory; and we may be sure that he will not come short of his design. And when the fulness of the Jews and Gentiles shall come into the church, all antichristian opposers shall be destroyed.

INTRODUCTION TO EZEKIEL 35

This chapter is a prophecy of the destruction of Edom, which is threatened, Eze 35:1-4, the cause of it, their hatred and slaughter of the Israelites, Eze 35:5-9, their claim of the lands of Israel and Judah for possession, Eze 35:10,11, their blasphemies against the people of God, and the Lord himself, Eze 35:12,13, the aggravation of their ruin, which was irretrievable; that when it was well with others, it should go ill with them; by way of just retaliation, Eze 35:14,15.
