2 Shǔ Yǐlán de zǐsūn , Yéxiē de érzi Shìjiāní duì Yǐsīlà shuō , wǒmen zaì cǐ dì qǔ le waì bāng nǚzi wèi qī , gānfàn le wǒmen de shén , ránér Yǐsèliè rén hái yǒu zhǐwang .

Ezra 10:2

And Shechaniah the son of Jehiel, one of the sons of Elam,
answered and said unto Ezra
This man seems to be one of those that now came with Ezra from Babylon, see ( Ezra 8:3 Ezra 8:5 ) ,

we have trespassed against our God, and have taken strange wives of the
people of the land;
not that he had taken any himself, being but just come into the land, nor is his name in the list of those that had; but inasmuch as many of the nation, of which he was a part, and his own father, and several of his uncles had, ( Ezra 10:26 ) , he expresses himself in this manner:

yet now there is hope in Israel concerning this thing;
of a reformation of this evil, and of pardon for it.

1 Yǐsīlà dǎogào , rèn zuì , kūqì , fǔfú zaì shén diàn qián de shíhou , yǒu Yǐsèliè zhōng de nánnǚ háitóng jùjí dào Yǐsīlā nàli , chéng le dà huì , zhòng mín wú bù tòngkū .

2 Shǔ Yǐlán de zǐsūn , Yéxiē de érzi Shìjiāní duì Yǐsīlà shuō , wǒmen zaì cǐ dì qǔ le waì bāng nǚzi wèi qī , gānfàn le wǒmen de shén , ránér Yǐsèliè rén hái yǒu zhǐwang .

3 Xiànzaì dāng yǔ wǒmen de shén lì yuē , xiū zhè yīqiè de qī , lí jué tāmen suǒ shēng de , zhào zhe wǒ zhǔ hé nà yīn shén mìnglìng zhàn jīng zhī rén suǒ yì déng de , àn lǜfǎ ér xíng .

4 Nǐ qǐlai , zhè shì nǐ dāng bàn de shì , wǒmen bì bāngzhu nǐ , nǐ dāng fèn miǎn ér xíng .

5 Yǐsīlà biàn qǐlai , shǐ Jìsīzhǎng hé Lìwèi rén , bìng Yǐsèliè zhòngrén qǐshì shuō , bì zhào zhè huà qù xíng . tāmen jiù qǐ le shì .
