6 雅 各 说 ： 他 平 安 麽 ？ 他 们 说 ： 平 安 。 看 哪 ， 他 女 儿 拉 结 领 着 羊 来 了 。

Genesis 29:6

And he said unto them, [is] he well?
&c.] In good health, he and his family, or "is peace unto him" ^F2; does he enjoy prosperity and happiness? for this word was used in the eastern nations, and still is, for all kind of felicity: and they said, [he is] well;
or has peace; he and his family are in good health, enjoying all the comforts and blessings of life: and, behold, Rachel his daughter cometh with the sheep;
at that very instant she was coming out of the city with her father's flock of sheep, to water them at the well; an instance of great humility, diligence, and simplicity; this was very providential to Jacob.

7 雅 各 说 ： 日 头 还 高 ， 不 是 羊 群 聚 集 的 时 候 ， 你 们 不 如 饮 羊 ， 再 去 放 一 放 。

8 他 们 说 ： 我 们 不 能 ， 必 等 羊 群 聚 齐 ， 人 把 石 头 转 离 井 口 才 可 饮 羊 。
