1 Samuel 1:25

And they slew a bullock
One of the three Hannah brought, unless the singular is put for the plural, and so all three were slain, some for sacrifice, and some for food perhaps; or if only one was slain, it might be offered as a sacrifice previous to the presentation of Samuel; or else was made a present of to Eli, at the introduction of Samuel to him, as follows:

and brought the child to Eli:
to be under his care, to he instructed and trained up by him in the service of the tabernacle; from hence it appears that Elkanah the husband of Hannah came along with her at this time.

23 他 丈 夫 以 利 加 拿 说 ： 就 随 你 的 意 行 罢 ！ 可 以 等 儿 子 断 了 奶 。 但 愿 耶 和 华 应 验 他 的 话 。 於 是 妇 人 在 家 里 乳 养 儿 子 ， 直 到 断 了 奶 ；

24 既 断 了 奶 ， 就 把 孩 子 带 上 示 罗 ， 到 了 耶 和 华 的 殿 ； 又 带 了 三 只 公 牛 ， 一 伊 法 细 面 ， 一 皮 袋 酒 。 （ 那 时 ， 孩 子 还 小 。 ）

25 宰 了 一 只 公 牛 ， 就 领 孩 子 到 以 利 面 前 。

26 妇 人 说 ： 主 啊 ， 我 敢 在 你 面 前 起 誓 ， 从 前 在 你 这 里 站 着 祈 求 耶 和 华 的 那 妇 人 ， 就 是 我 。

27 我 祈 求 为 要 得 这 孩 子 ； 耶 和 华 已 将 我 所 求 的 赐 给 我 了 。
