Deuteronomy 28:47

Because thou servedst not the Lord thy God
By attending his worship, and keeping his commandments:

with joyfulness and gladness of heart, for the abundance of all
[things];
which they enjoyed in the land of Canaan, a land that abounded with all good things; which laid them under great obligations to serve the Lord: and yet, as they were wanting in a ready attendance on his worship, and in a cheerful obedience to his laws, so in their sacrifices, of praise and thanksgivings for their manifold mercies; and, because of all this, the curses written in this book came upon them.

45 这 一 切 咒 诅 必 追 随 你 ， 赶 上 你 ， 直 到 你 灭 亡 ； 因 为 你 不 听 从 耶 和 华 ─ 你 　 神 的 话 ， 不 遵 守 他 所 吩 咐 的 诫 命 律 例 。

46 这 些 咒 诅 必 在 你 和 你 後 裔 的 身 上 成 为 异 迹 奇 事 ， 直 到 永 远 ！

47 因 为 你 富 有 的 时 候 ， 不 欢 心 乐 意 的 事 奉 耶 和 华 ─ 你 的 　 神 ，

48 所 以 你 必 在 饥 饿 、 乾 渴 、 赤 露 、 缺 乏 之 中 事 奉 耶 和 华 所 打 发 来 攻 击 你 的 仇 敌 。 他 必 把 铁 轭 加 在 你 的 颈 项 上 ， 直 到 将 你 灭 绝 。

49 耶 和 华 要 从 远 方 、 地 极 带 一 国 的 民 ， 如 鹰 飞 来 攻 击 你 。 这 民 的 言 语 ， 你 不 懂 得 。
