5 这 诸 王 会 合 ， 来 到 米 伦 水 边 ， 一 同 安 营 ， 要 与 以 色 列 人 争 战 。

Joshua 11:5

And when all those kings were met together
At some certain place, which Jabin had appointed:

they came and pitched together at the waters of Merom:
Josephus ^F1 says it was at Berotha; perhaps it should be Merotha, a city of upper Galilee, not far from Cedesa, the same he elsewhere calls ^F2 Meroth, These waters are the same with the lake Samachonitis, on which Hazor was situated; so that it was near Jabin where the rendezvous was. This lake is thought ^F3 to have its name from the Arabic word "Samacha", which signifies high, as Merom does in Hebrew. It was, as Josephus says

3 又 去 见 东 方 和 西 方 的 迦 南 人 ， 与 山 地 的 亚 摩 利 人 、 赫 人 、 比 利 洗 人 、 耶 布 斯 人 ， 并 黑 门 山 根 米 斯 巴 地 的 希 未 人 。

4 这 些 王 和 他 们 的 众 军 都 出 来 ， 人 数 多 如 海 边 的 沙 ， 并 有 许 多 马 匹 车 辆 。

5 这 诸 王 会 合 ， 来 到 米 伦 水 边 ， 一 同 安 营 ， 要 与 以 色 列 人 争 战 。

6 耶 和 华 对 约 书 亚 说 ： 你 不 要 因 他 们 惧 怕 。 明 日 这 时 ， 我 必 将 他 们 交 付 以 色 列 人 全 然 杀 了 。 你 要 砍 断 他 们 马 的 蹄 筋 ， 用 火 焚 烧 他 们 的 车 辆 。

7 於 是 约 书 亚 率 领 一 切 兵 丁 ， 在 米 伦 水 边 突 然 向 前 攻 打 他 们 。
