You don’t have to look far these days to see examples of hate. Just turn on the nightly news or go on social media for five minutes! But the Christian should be different. We’re called to love, just as God loves. And we’ll give you some reasons to do that today on a Daily Walk!

Judgement Day… to some the mere thought of that is frightening. But today on His Perfect Love we’ll tell you how to have confidence on that day. It’s not something you need to worry about, if the love of God has been made perfect in us. Today we join pastor Matt VanderVen in First John chapter four and we are getting ready for judgement day!

In 1 John 4, we are reminded of the incredible love of God—a love so transformative that when we truly experience it, it compels us to love others in return. “We love because He first loved us” (1 John 4:19). Today, Pastor Jack Morris explores how encountering God’s love changes our hearts, teaching us to extend grace, compassion, and forgiveness to those around us. Join us as we discover how living in the fullness of God’s love enables us to reflect His love to the world.

Recently we’ve received a really good working definition of love from the apostle John. After defining love for us, he then describes what God did for us. With that as a backdrop he now tells us we’re to love one another unconditionally with God’s perfect love. I think you’d agree that is so needed in a world full of hate and evil.

Not long ago we celebrated Valentine’s Day. And maybe like many you’ll be looking for ways to express your love to to someone special in your life. But today we want you to consider how God shows His great love to us! And will serve as a wonderful motivation and inspiration to love others as He does.

Pastor Morris reflects on how God is described in 1 John Chapter 4 and throughout Scripture as the very essence of love—“God is love.” Join us as we delve into the depth and constancy of God’s love, exploring what it means to be cherished by a God who loves unconditionally. 1 John 4:8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
