Matthew 16:17-18

17 And Jesus answered him, ¹“Blessed are you, ²Simon Bar-Jonah! For ³flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, ⁴but my Father who is in heaven.

18 And I tell you, ⁵you are Peter, and ⁶on this rock^[a] I will build my church, and ⁷the gates of ⁸hell^[b] shall not prevail against it.
