15 E i Giudei ch’erano in Susan, si adunarono ancora nel quartodecimo giorno del mese di Adar, ed uccisero in Susan trecent’uomini; ma non misero le mani alla preda.

Esther 9:15

For the Jews that were in Shushan gathered themselves together
on the fourteenth day also of the month Adar
As they had on the thirteenth:

and slew three hundred men at Shushan;
the Targum adds, of the family of Amalek: but there is no reason to confine it to them; it respects all such as were the enemies of the Jews, and rose up against them; so that the whole number slain in Shushan were eight hundred persons, besides the sons of Human:

but on the prey they laid not their hand; (See Gill on Esther 9:7).

13 Ed Ester disse: Se così piace al re, sia ancora domani conceduto a’ Giudei, che sono in Susan, di fare come era stato ordinato che oggi si facesse; e sieno i dieci figliuoli di Haman appiccati al legno.

14 E il re ordinò che così fosse fatto; e il decreto ne fu bandito in Susan; e i dieci figliuoli di Haman furono appiccati.

15 E i Giudei ch’erano in Susan, si adunarono ancora nel quartodecimo giorno del mese di Adar, ed uccisero in Susan trecent’uomini; ma non misero le mani alla preda.

16 Gli altri Giudei ch’erano nelle provincie del re, si adunarono anch’essi, e stettero alla difesa della lor vita; ed ebbero riposo de’ lor nemici, avendone uccisi settantacinquemila, senza però metter le mani alla preda.

17 Questo avvenne al tredicesimo giorno del mese di Adar; poi al quartodecimo dell’istesso mese si riposarono, e celebrarono quel giorno, come giorno di conviti e di letizia.
