9 Voi adunque non ascoltate i vostri profeti, nè i vostri indovini, nè i vostri sognatori, nè i vostri pronosticatori, nè i vostri incantatori, che vi dicono: Voi non servirete al re di Babilonia;

Jeremiah 27:9

Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets
False prophets, as the Targum. These words are not directed to the Jews, but are a continuation of what the messengers of the nations should say to their masters from the God of Israel, by the mouth of his prophet; for they had their prophets as well as the Jews; as the prophets of Baal, and others: nor to your diviners;
or soothsayers; such an one as was Balaam: nor to your dreamers;
or "dreams"; such as they had themselves, and laid great stress upon; or to those who pretended to interpret them to them: nor to your enchanters;
or stargazers; astrologers, who pretended by the position of the stars to foretell what would come to pass: nor to your sorcerers;
or wizards, or necromancers; who, by unlawful methods, pretended to acquire knowledge of future things: which speak unto you, saying, ye shall not serve the king of Babylon;
meaning, either that they ought not to become tributary to him; or they should not be brought into subjection by him: and so were stirred up to oppose him, and not submit to him.

7 E tutte le nazioni serviranno a lui, ed al suo figliuolo, ed al figliuolo del suo figliuolo, finchè venga ancora il tempo del suo paese; ed allora nazioni possenti, e re grandi, ridurranno ancora lui in servitù.
8 E se alcuna gente, o regno, non vuol servirgli, cioè, a Nebucadnesar, re di Babilonia, e non vuol sottoporre il collo al giogo del re di Babilonia; io farò punizione di quella gente, dice il Signore, con la spada, e con la fame, e con la pestilenza, finchè io li abbia consumati per mano di esso.
9 Voi adunque non ascoltate i vostri profeti, nè i vostri indovini, nè i vostri sognatori, nè i vostri pronosticatori, nè i vostri incantatori, che vi dicono: Voi non servirete al re di Babilonia;
10 perciocchè essi vi profetizzano menzogna, per dilungarvi d’in su la vostra terra; e acciocchè io vi scacci, e periate.
11 Ma la gente, che sottoporrà il collo al giogo del re di Babilonia, e gli servirà, io la lascerò sopra la sua terra, dice il Signore; ed ella la lavorerà, ed abiterà in essa.
