Joshua 13:30

And their coast was from Mahanaim
A place in the tribe of Gad, ( Joshua 13:26 ) ; which was the boundary of the half tribe that way:

all Bashan;
so famous for its oxen, and for pasturage for them, and for its oaks, called by Josephus Batanea:

all the kingdom of Og king of Bashan;
which, besides Bashan, took in the kingdom of Argob or Trachonitis, half the land of Gilead, all which was possessed by the half tribe of Manasseh: see ( Deuteronomy 3:13 ) ;

and all the towns of, Jair which [are] in Bashan, threescore cities;
of Jair, and his relation to Manasseh, and of his taking these cities, and the number of them, see ( Numbers 33:41 ) ( Deuteronomy 3:4 Deuteronomy 3:14 ) .

28 Questa fu l’eredità dei figliuoli di Gad, secondo le lor nazioni, cioè: quelle città e le lor villate.

29 Mosè diede ancora eredità alla metà della tribù di Manasse: quella fu per la metà della tribù de’ figliuoli di Manasse, secondo le lor nazioni.

30 La lor contrada fu da Mahanaim, tutto Basan, tutto il regno d’Og, re di Basan, e tutte le villate di Iair, che sono in Basan, che sono sessanta terre;

31 e la metà di Galaad, e Astarot, ed Edrei, città del regno d’Og, in Basan. Tutto ciò fu dato a’ figliuoli di Machir, figliuolo di Manasse, cioè: alla metà de’ figliuoli di Machir, secondo le lor nazioni.

32 Queste son le contrade che Mosè diede per eredità, nelle campagne di Moab, di là dal Giordano di Gerico, verso Oriente.
