20 E i pastori se ne ritornarono, glorificando e lodando Iddio di tutte le cose che aveano udite e vedute, secondo ch’era loro stato parlato.

Luke 2:20

And the shepherds returned
From Bethlehem, to the fields, and to their flock there;

glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard;
from Joseph and Mary:

and seen;
as the babe lying in the manger:

as it was told unto them;
by the angel: they glorified God on account of the birth of the Messiah; and praised him, wondering at his grace, and the high honour put upon them, that they should be acquainted with it; and that there was such an exact agreement between the things they had seen, and the angel's account of them.

18 E tutti coloro che li udirono si maravigliarono delle cose ch’eran lor dette da’ pastori.
19 E Maria conservava in sè tutte queste parole, conferendole insieme nel cuor suo.
20 E i pastori se ne ritornarono, glorificando e lodando Iddio di tutte le cose che aveano udite e vedute, secondo ch’era loro stato parlato.
21 E QUANDO gli otto giorni, in capo de’ quali egli dovea esser circonciso, furon compiuti, gli fu posto nome GESÙ, secondo ch’era stato nominato dall’angelo, innanzi che fosse conceputo nel seno.
22 E quando i giorni della loro purificazione furon compiuti secondo la legge di Mosè, portarono il fanciullo in Gerusalemme, per presentarlo al Signore
