20 Ma, diceva egli, ciò che esce dall’uomo è quel che lo contamina.

Mark 7:20

And he said
Continued to say in his discourse; though this is left but in the Syriac version;

that which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man;
meaning, not his excrements, which were unclean by the law, ( Deuteronomy 23:13 ) but what comes out of his heart, by his mouth; or is expressed in action, as appears by what follows; (See Gill on Matthew 15:18).

18 Ed egli disse loro: Siete voi ancora così privi d’intelletto? non intendete voi che tutto ciò che di fuori entra nell’uomo non può contaminarlo?
19 Poichè non gli entra nel cuore, anzi nel ventre, e poi se ne va nella latrina, purgando tutte le vivande.
20 Ma, diceva egli, ciò che esce dall’uomo è quel che lo contamina.
21 Poichè di dentro, cioè, dal cuore degli uomini, procedono pensieri malvagi, adulterii, fornicazioni, omicidii, furti,
22 cupidigie, malizie, frodi, lascivie, occhio maligno, bestemmia, alterezza, stoltizia.
