Leviticus 22:6

The soul which hath touched any such shall be unclean until

Which is the time fixed by the several laws for such uncleannesses, see ( Leviticus 11:31 ) ( Leviticus 15:5 Leviticus 15:7 Leviticus 15:16 ) ; and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he wash his flesh with
water;
in forty seahs of water, as the Targum of Jonathan; yea, when the evening is come, he may not eat of the heave or wave offerings, until he has dipped himself all over in water; nor should any eat of the Lord's supper under the New Testament, but such as are first baptized in water.

Lévitique 22:6 In-Context

4 Tout homme de la race d'Aaron, qui aura la lĂšpre ou une gonorrhĂ©e, ne mangera point des choses saintes jusqu'Ă  ce qu'il soit pur. Il en sera de mĂȘme pour celui qui touchera une personne souillĂ©e par le contact d'un cadavre, pour celui qui aura une pollution,
5 pour celui qui touchera un reptile et en aura été souillé, ou un homme atteint d'une impureté quelconque et en aura été souillé.
6 Celui qui touchera ces choses sera impur jusqu'au soir; il ne mangera pas des choses saintes, mais il lavera son corps dans l'eau;
7 aprĂšs le coucher du soleil, il sera pur, et il mangera ensuite des choses saintes, car c'est sa nourriture.
8 Il ne mangera point d'une bĂȘte morte ou dĂ©chirĂ©e, afin de ne pas se souiller par elle. Je suis l'Eternel.
