Leviticus 22:7

And when the sun is down he shall be clean
Having washed himself in water, otherwise not, though the sun may be set: and shall afterwards eat of the holy things;
the families of the priests lived upon: because it [is] his food:
his common food, his ordinary diet, that by which he subsists, having nothing else to live upon; this being the ordination of God, that he which ministered about holy things should live on them; and these being his only substance, in compassion to him they were detained from him no longer than the evening; and this was done, to make him careful how he defiled himself, since thereby he was debarred of his ordinary meals.

5 pour celui qui touchera un reptile et en aura été souillé, ou un homme atteint d'une impureté quelconque et en aura été souillé.
6 Celui qui touchera ces choses sera impur jusqu'au soir; il ne mangera pas des choses saintes, mais il lavera son corps dans l'eau;
7 après le coucher du soleil, il sera pur, et il mangera ensuite des choses saintes, car c'est sa nourriture.
8 Il ne mangera point d'une bête morte ou déchirée, afin de ne pas se souiller par elle. Je suis l'Eternel.
9 Ils observeront mes commandements, de peur qu'ils ne portent la peine de leur péché et qu'ils ne meurent, pour avoir profané les choses saintes. Je suis l'Eternel, qui les sanctifie.
