2 Chronicles 20:30

So the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet
Both within and without; they were at peace among themselves, and none from abroad dared to molest them:

for his God gave him rest round about;
from all his enemies; the Targum has it, the Word of his God; and so, in the preceding verse, the Word of the Lord fought; and in ( 2 Chronicles 20:28 ) the Word of the Lord made them rejoice.

28 Und sie zogen in Jerusalem ein mit Psaltern, Harfen und Drommeten zum Hause des HERRN.

29 Und die Furcht Gottes kam über alle Königreiche in den Landen, da sie hörten, daß der HERR wider die Feinde Israels gestritten hatte.

30 Also war das Königreich Josaphats still, und Gott gab ihm Ruhe umher. {~}

31 Und Josaphat regierte über Juda und war fünfunddreißig Jahre alt, da er König ward, und regierte fünfundzwanzig Jahre zu Jerusalem. Seine Mutter hieß Asuba, eine Tochter Silhis.

32 Und er wandelte in dem Wege seines Vaters Asa und ließ nicht davon, daß er tat, was dem HERRN wohl gefiel.
