Acts 24:20

Or else let these same here say
They that are present, the high priest and the elders, who were come down to accuse him:

if they have found any evil doing in me, while I stood before the
council;
or "Jewish sanhedrim"; when he was brought before them by the chief captain, ( Acts 22:30 ) ( 23:1 ) meaning, if any evil was then done by him, or any iniquity proved upon him, let it be declared; for as for his imprecation, or prophecy, that God would smite the high priest, he excused himself on that head, as not knowing it was the high priest.

19 who ought to have been present before you and to make accusation, if they should have anything against me.
20 "Or else let these men themselves tell what misdeed they found when I stood before the Council,
21 other than for this one statement which I shouted out while standing among them, 'For the resurrection of the dead I am on trial before you today.' "
22 But Felix, having a more exact knowledge about the Way, put them off, saying, "When Lysias the commander comes down, I will decide your case ."
