Acts 2:42-47

Listen to Acts 2:42-47
42 They were 1continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to 2the breaking of bread and 3to prayer.
43 Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many 4wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles.
44 And all those who had believed were together * * and 5had all things in common;
45 and they 6began selling their property and possessions and were sharing them with all, as anyone might have need.
46 7Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and 8breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart,
47 praising God and 9having favor with all the people. And the Lord 10was adding to their number day by day 11those who were being saved.

We're Better Together, Part 2
We're Better Together, Part 2
Stuart and Jill Briscoe

It’s possible to live around the edge of Christian community instead of actually stepping into it. You can easily go to church every Sunday and not talk to a single person. Or, you can stream a Sunday service and watch it from the comfort of your living room couch. You’re free to isolate yourself, you have Jesus, you’re going to heaven, and He loves you—none of that will change. But life here on earth is so much better when we share it together! In this message, Pete Briscoe teaches from Acts chapter 2 where we learn how to avoid the discontentment, despair, and loneliness that isolation breeds and instead step into a rich and fulfilling life.
