Have not I commanded thee?
&c.] The above things, to go over Jordan with the people into the land of Canaan, and to observe the law of Moses in all things, and to be of good courage, which is again repeated; consider who it is that has given these orders and instructions, the great Jehovah, the everlasting I AM, who is faithful to his promises, and able to perform. The consideration of which would serve to animate him to the work he was called unto, to encourage his faith in God, to engage in his service cheerfully and readily:
be strong, and of a good courage; (See Gill on Joshua 1:6); (See Gill on Joshua 1:7).
be not afraid, nor be thou dismayed;
at his enemies, numerous and powerful, nor discouraged at anything in himself, any unfitness for such service, as he might think, or at any difficulties he might fear from the people he had the government of, and was to lead on; it was enough that the divine Presence was promised him, and which is repeated:
for the Lord thy God [is] with thee whithersoever thou goest:
or, as the Targum of Jonathan,
``for thy help is the Word of the Lord thy God;''(See Gill on Joshua 1:5).

God Is Always with UsA hot day drives C.J. and Staci inside to explore the cool basement of the Collins Mansion. The recovering of Mr. Collins' private journal leads them to the discovery of a lifetime! But someone lurking in the shadows will do anything to keep them from it.

Sometimes it's difficult to discern how our actions and God's intersect so Pastor Morris is going to lead us in a study and reveal what God's Word has to say.

Today we’re going to pay a visit to Joshua chapter one, and recall a time when Joshua was called to cross over the Jordan River. It would require faith and courage, and living by the promises of God. Pastor John will relate this to the Jordan Rivers we face in life. Are you willing to step into whatever God has for you in 2021? Pastor John says it starts by getting up!

As we turn together to Joshua chapter one, we discover Joshua is faced with a national tragedy similar to our own. And there came a time where he would need to get up and go forward and cross the Jordan River. Pastor John believes we all have Jordan Rivers to cross in our lives. And maybe God is calling you to cross over, even as we speak?

Guests: Lt. Col. Lawrence Weisman, Audrey Russo & Vietnam Veteran Tom Munroe - Hear from a Veteran of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan & of the Vietnam war. What affect has the liberal mainstream media had on our Troops? And what we should know about PTSD - the affects and the support that is needed and available? And how can we give honor where honor is due? This is an all-important show.

Guest: Bert Botta, Author, Therapist, Men's Life Coach - In today's politically-correct culture it's not popular to give honor to men. But it's time for balance because not all men are dead-beat dads, abusers or predators; many are men of integrity, are good fathers, and honor women, etc. And, as our guest points out, some have been victims of molestation, affected negatively by fatherless homes themselves, and all find themselves facing prejudice just for being men today. And so it's an issue that needs addressing.
